Cornerstone Underwriting Partners, LLC (CUP) is a Managing General Underwriter (MGU) and Program Administrator providing market solutions to the wholesale, aggregator, and specialty broker channel with underwriting, pricing and policy issuance authority.
CUP distributes its products on a national basis. As an MGU, delegated binding authority applies to traditional E&S type placements for small/medium sized enterprises, emerging risk exposures & non-routine Workers Compensation solutions.
CUP is a technology-based MGU with, what we believe is, best in class online rating platforms which assists in the risk qualification/validation process to deliver desired outcomes for all stakeholders (brokers, carriers and other capital providers).
We have the depth and breadth of experience necessary to deliver on the commitments we make to our partners. We bring multiple perspectives to each initiative we undertake gained from working as retail agents, MGAs, wholesalers and insurance carrier underwriters. We have a full suite of capabilities including program development, program management, actuarial, claims and loss control.
We have the capacity and capability to design and execute customized solutions, including risk sharing alternatives, and specialty insurance programs for broad market distribution. We maintain active relationships with direct markets, reinsurers, fronting carriers and a network of affiliated service providers. We offer both admitted and non-admitted alternatives as required.
